On behalf of Legal Week, conference chair Terry Christensen and Barclays Wealth, I am delighted to announce our tenth Private Client Forum taking place on 15-17 November 2012 at Villa d'Este on the shores of Lake Como, Italy. The timing of this year's forum will mark a checkpoint at which to assess and discuss key developments around the globe and the effects they are having on wealth for international private clients. We are delighted to be celebrating our 10 year anniversary, marking a decade of uniting the world's most senior private client practitioners.

Last year's highlights:

• Colombian Ambassador to Italy, Juan Manuel Prieto, shared his views on governments' attitudes towards private investment, with a focus on Latin America

A key addition to the programme is the requirement for audience participation in the lead-up to the forum with a pre-set task.
